Cassette
Cassette deck:Type of tape machine for playing and recording cassettes.
Display
Backlight display:A backlight is a form of illumination used in liquid crystal displays (LCDs). As LCDs do not produce light themselves - unlike for example Cathode ray tube (CRT) displays - they need illumination (ambient light or a special light source) to produce a visible image. Backlights are used in small displays to increase readability in low light conditions such as in watches, and in computer displays and LCD televisions to produce light in a manner similar to a CRT display.
Display type:Type of display (screen) e.g. LCD.

Built-in display:A display which is part of the product, so you do not need to attach another display.
Features
On/off switch:The button which is pressed to switch the device on or off.
PLL synthesizer:A phase-locked loop (PLL) is a control system that generates an output signal whose phase is related to the phase of an input "reference" signal. This circuit compares the phase of the input signal with the phase of the signal derived from its output oscillator and adjusts the frequency of its oscillator to keep the phases matched. \n\nPhase-locked loops are widely employed in radio, telecommunications, computers and other electronic applications. They can be used to recover a signal from a noisy communication channel, generate stable frequencies at a multiple of an input frequency (frequency synthesis), or distribute clock timing pulses in digital logic designs such as microprocessors.
Control type:The way in which the device is controlled.
Buttons
USB direct playback:The device can play audio or video contact directly from a peripheral device (e.g. memory stick) which is plugged in via a USB connector.
MP3 playback:The device can play MP3s.
