Overview

Designed for healthcare applications, the NVF260 is perfect for tracking surgical instruments. The NVF260 provides excellent performance in reading DPM barcodes with a new generation of industrial decoding algorithms. Its' blue diffuse illumination helps to avoid reflection from metal surfaces.

A Medical Grade Device
With its advanced illumination system and ability to scan DPM barcodes, the NVF260 is perfect for healthcare applications. The special medical-grade coating can withstand sterilization with 100% alcohol solutions without any damage to the surface.

DPM Decoding.
With a new generation of industrial decoding, the NVF260 is excellent at reading DPM barcodes even on curved surfaces.

Advanced Illumination.
The NVF260's blue illumination ring helps to reduce bottlenecks in the scanning process by avoiding the reflection from materials with metal surfaces.

Impressive Image Sensor.
With a 1280x800 megapixel imager, the NVF260 can decode up to 3-millimetre barcodes.

Industrial Design.
Built with an IP64 housing, the NVF260 easily resists water and dust. The medical-grade housing is also able to be sterilized without alcohol damage.

International Protection (IP) code:The IP code classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against the intrusion (including body parts such as hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water by mechanical casings and electrical enclosures. It is published by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The digits (characteristic numerals) indicate conformity with the conditions summarized in the tables below. Where there is no protection rating with regard to one of the criteria, the digit is replaced with the letter X. an electrical socket rated IP22 is protected against insertion of fingers and will not be damaged or become unsafe during a specified test in which it is exposed to vertically or nearly vertically dripping water. Another example is the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, one of the first cellular phones to be IP-rated; it is rated at IP58 and marketed as "dust resistant" and can be "immersed in 1.5 meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes".
