• Server cases such as 2U racks usually have a high component density, which means a high airflow is needed to effectively dissipate heat. A high static pressure capacity is therefore important to direct the airflow through the tight ducts inside the case. The P8 Max is ideal for 2U rack cases with 2-height units.


• The ball bearing of the Japanese manufacturer NMB ensures a particularly long service life. Compared to sleeve bearings, ball bearings produce a significantly higher bearing noise. Therefore, the P8 Max is the perfect choice if you want to ensure permanent operation at high speeds. For silent enthusiasts, we recommend models with sleeve bearings, such as the P8 PWM PST.


• The P8 Max delivers a focused airflow and guarantees a good airflow even with particularly high static pressure. Therefore, the P8 Max is also specially suitable for use on heat sinks, radiators, pinholes and filters.


• The P8 Max enables precise fan speed (500 to 5000 rpm) via pulse width modulation control, which can be adapted to the individual cooling requirements. The P8 Max enables silent operation when only a low airflow is required and provides a high performance level if needed.


• The P8 Max is a powerful fan with 500 to 5000 rpm.The fan delivers a static pressure of 5.3 mmH2O and generates an airflow of up to 40 cfm. It offers precise control of the fan speed via pulse width modulation (PWM) and is extremely efficient at 0.19 A. The P8 Max is ideal for 2U server racks, which often require a high airflow to effectively dissipate heat. In addition, it has a 0 dB mode for silent operation in IDLE.


• The P8 Max is distinguished by its extremely high efficiency. At a speed of 3000 rpm and a voltage of 12 volts, it requires only 0.669 watts, which corresponds to a current of 0.06 amps.


• The speed of the fan can be throttled down to a standstill via PWM. This allows silent operation in IDLE and at the same time guarantees maximum performance when required. This enables the P8 Max to be extremely flexible in adjusting the speed to optimally regulate the airflow for every case.
