Overview

Do you require higher performance computation for deep learning, high-performance computing (HPC) workloads, or graphics?

Companies are facing greater computational and graphics requirements as large and complex computational models become more commonplace. Traditional CPU technology is no longer able to keep up with these increasing demands. NVIDIA® accelerators for HPE ProLiant servers seamlessly integrate GPU computing with select HPE server families. Designed for power-efficient, high-performance supercomputing, NVIDIA accelerators deliver dramatically higher application acceleration than a CPU-only approach for a range of deep learning, scientific, and commercial applications. The thousands of NVIDIA CUDA® cores of each accelerator allow it to divide large computing or graphics tasks into thousands of smaller tasks that can be run concurrently, thus enabling much faster simulations and improved graphics fidelity for extremely demanding 3D models.

Increased Performance to Solve Problems Faster
- The NVIDIA accelerators for HPE ProLiant servers improve computational performance, dramatically reducing the completion time for parallel tasks, offering quicker time to solutions.
- Co-locating the NVIDIA Quadro® or NVIDIA GRID GPUs with computational servers, large data sets can be shared, dramatically improving display refresh rates.
- These GPUs are specifically designed to enable rich graphics in virtualized environments. Hewlett Packard Enterprise can satisfy NVIDIA GRID software via HPE Complete.
- NVIDIA accelerators can be configured and monitored by HPE Insight Cluster Management Utility (CMU). HPE Insight CMU monitors and displays GPU health and temperature, as well as installs and provisions the GPU drivers and CUDA software.

Specification

Technical Description: HP Tesla M60 Graphics Cards

Design
Cooling type:The method used to cool the device or to cool the air around the device.
Passive

Memory
Memory bandwidth (max):
320 GB/s
Memory clock speed:The frequency at which the memory (e.g. RAM) runs.
2505 MHz
Memory bus:Hardware and software that connects the main memory to the memory controller in computer systems. Originally, general-purpose buses like VMEbus and the S-100 bus were used, but to reduce latency, modern memory buses are designed to connect directly to DRAM chips, and thus are designed by chip standards bodies such as JEDEC.
256 bit
Graphics card memory type:
GDDR5
Discrete graphics card memory:
16 GB

Ports & interfaces
DisplayPorts quantity:Number of DisplayPorts. A DisplayPort is a digital display interface developed by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA). The interface is primarily used to connect a video source to a display device such as a computer monitor, though it can also be used to carry audio, USB, and other forms of data.
0
DVI-D ports quantity:This is the amount of DVI-I interfaces. Digital Visual Interface (DVI) is a video display interface developed by the Digital Display Working Group (DDWG). The digital interface is used to connect a video source to a display device, such as a computer monitor. DVI-D means DVI digital, which means it can only support digital, but not analog.
0
DVI-I ports quantity:This is the amount of DVI-I interfaces. Digital Visual Interface (DVI) is a video display interface developed by the Digital Display Working Group (DDWG). The digital interface is used to connect a video source to a display device, such as a computer monitor. DVI-I is DVI integrated, which means it can support digital and analog.
0
HDMI ports quantity:The number of sockets (ports) for HDMI connections. HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a compact audio/video interface for transferring uncompressed video data and compressed/uncompressed digital audio data from a HDMI-compliant device ("the source device") to a compatible computer monitor, video projector, digital television, or digital audio device. HDMI is a digital replacement for existing analog video standards.
0
Interface type:
PCI Express x16 3.0

Power
Power consumption (max):The maximum amount of power used by the device.
300 W

Processor
Parallel processing technology support:Parallel processing technology is the simultaneous use of more than one CPU or processor core to execute a program or multiple computational threads. Ideally, parallel processing makes programs run faster because there are more engines (CPUs or Cores) running it. In practice, it is often difficult to divide a program in such a way that separate CPUs or cores can execute different portions without interfering with each other. Most computers have just one CPU, but some models have several, and multi-core processor chips are becoming the norm. There are even computers with thousands of CPUs.
Dual Graphics
Processor frequency:The clock rate is the fundamental rate in cycles per second (measured in hertz) at which a computer performs its most basic operations such as adding two numbers. There are more factors, like internal memory size, that influence a computer's actual response time.
899 MHz
CUDA cores:
4096
CUDA:CUDA (aka Compute Unified Device Architecture) is a parallel computing platform and programming model created by NVIDIA and implemented by the graphics processing units (GPUs) that they produce. CUDA gives program developers direct access to the virtual instruction set and memory of the parallel computational elements in CUDA GPUs.
Yes
Graphics processor:Also known as a graphics processing unit (GPU), this is a specialized electronic circuit designed to rapidly manipulate and alter memory to accelerate the creation of images in a frame buffer intended for output to a display. GPUs are used in embedded systems, mobile phones, personal computers, workstations, and game consoles. Modern GPUs are very efficient at manipulating computer graphics.
Tesla M60
Graphics processor family:The category to which the graphics processor (GPU) belongs e.g. Southern Islands family of Radeon processors (made by AMD), GeForce 600 (made by NVIDIA).
NVIDIA

System requirements
Server operating systems supported:
Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016
Windows operating systems supported:Windows vesions wich can be used with the device.
Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 8.1

Weight & dimensions
Height:The measurement of the product from head to foot or from base to top.
111.8 mm
Depth:The distance from the front to the back of something.
38.1 mm
Length:The measurement or extent of something from end to end.
266.7 mm
