HPE DDR4 SmartMemory unlocks features available only with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Gen9 systems. It enables the reliability of your systems, identify and verify whether installed memory options have passed the rigorous qualification and testing processes.

And because the memory is authenticated, you can enable extended memory performance features through the system ROM.

Offers Better Performance than the Competition
HPE DDR4 SmartMemory for HPE ProLiant Gen9 Servers provide 12% better performance when running at 2DPC among rack and tower servers. At 3DPC, DDR4 SmartMemory RDIMM offers 16% better performance while DDR4 LRDIMM offers 28% better performance.1

HPE DDR4 SmartMemory for the HPE Synergy portfolio has 12% better performance at 2DPC in the competition. Whereas at 3DPC, DDR4 SmartMemory RDIMM can offer 16% better performance and SmartMemory LRDIMM can offer 14% better performance.2

DDR4 SmartMemory enables HPE ProLiant Gen9 Servers, Apollo Family, Blade Systems and Synergy products to reliably identify the installed memory has passed the rigorous qualification and testing.

Verifies that your memory has been tested and performance tuned specifically for your HPE ProLiant Gen 9 Servers, Apollo Family, and Blade Servers. HPE Memory is sourced from a tier 1 vendor and is capable of system level testing.

When used in conjunction with HPE OneView, DDR4 SmartMemory enables fault prediction capabilities. If potential problems develop in one of the DIMMs, HPE OneView lets you know in advance so you can have the DIMM replaced, before it fails, under warranty.
