RJ45 Network cables have various uses within both the home and office environments. Ranging from simply connecting one device to another or wiring up a network within a building. Generally the central point for the network would be a server along with hubs'switches and patch panels required for the network. Shorter length cables are used for local connections between the server, hubs'switches and patch panels. Bulk cable is then run throughout the building through trunking to the back of various network points. A network cable will then be used to provide a connection between the network point and a PC.
