Why do you need it?
You require a connection from your DisplayPort (DP) source to your display that features a DP socket supplying you with a consistantly UHDCloseUltra High Definition (UHD) is the resolution 3840x2160 pixels. What this means is that there are more pixels per inch (PPI) in a UHD display than a FHD (Full High Definition 1920x1080) display. This gives a higher resolution display experience.

What does it do?
Provides a complete digital display and audio output from your DP source to your DP display. Delivering a higher resolution, faster refresh rate, deeper colours and no lag all from a single DisplayPort cable.
